Elongated Toilet Seat

This is a fine toilet seat, perfectly serivceable, stylish, comfortable and has an effective self-closing mechanism. Yes, it appears to be made of flimsy plastic. No, it is not, in reality, flimsy. Great deal that’s been working well in my 2d bathroom for the past 7 months.

Call it a curse, but I definitely swivel when I am using the bathroom. Whether it be to get blood flow to my legs, or to wipe my nether regions on either side. Either way, rocking back and forth even when you have food poisoning… Every single freaking time, and four separate houses, I have broken the toilet seat. Is sturdy, gorgeous, and comfy. I never thought I would leave a toilet seat review. This is worth the money
I bought this toilet seat after doing extensive research primarily based on reviews. The toilet seat was so easy to install which was removing by removing the bolts from the old, cleaning the area & reattaching the new. The difference with this seat is the hole is a tad wider so it allows you to position it in the right place. I inserted one screw, slightly tightened the bolt and did the same on the other side. By not tightening them completely, it allowed me to ensure the seat was positioned correctly. It is also nice having the soft close lid which my old seat also had. One of the nice things I noticed on every toilet seat I looked at on Amazon is there are instructions on how to measure prior to purchasing a new seat & instructions on the installation although if you can use a screw driver & either use plyers or able to hand tighten, it’s an easy task.

MAYFAIR 1843SLOW 000 Lannon Toilet Seat will Slow Close and Never Loosen, ELONGATED, Durable Enameled Wood, White

Toilet Seat will Slow Close and Never Loosen

This is very solid, and the slow closure mechanism works good,, but maybe a little too good. I would rather have a slow closing toilet seat, as opposed to one that slams closed, with a loud bang. This might even be adjustable, but it closes so slow, you might need to give it a little nudge, but still better than the alternative.

I have not had any problems with the finish coming off, but I owe that to the other reviewers, that mentioned that issue. I use a very gentle soapy water, to clean it, with a germicidal soap, and it still looks brand new. I could see how using a very strong cleaning product could be too harsh, but I think I will try one of the citrus based products, just to see what happens. It does look good, not that a toilet seat needs to look good, but it certainly doesn’t look bad. It is a stark color, which is totally appropriate.

My tiny issue, which is an acceptable trade off, but might not be for everyone, is as follows. There are toilet seats that are installed from just the top of the toilet, which is what I thought this was. This is the type that you can tighten from the top, but you do need to place the bottom fasteners, from the bottom. I was replacing one that you could completely installed from the top, and then you could tighten it from just the top, but that created the situation where you had to tighten it, way too frequently.

Everything is relative, and the old one required tightening from the top, which took all of about a minute, but perhaps every few months. It was quick and easy, but became annoying. This promises to stay tight, and I actually waited to see for myself, and it hasn’t loosened at all, and is exactly as tightly installed as the day I installed it. I ordered it, and took everything out of the box, including the hardware, and I was replacing the older one, that was broken. I am sure I could have returned it, but I figured I would just install it, even though you do need to get to the bottom, for a few moments. The only reason this even mattered was there is very little room between the wall, on one side, and the vanity, on the other side, in my guest bathroom, so it is a little tight to get underneath. With that said, I would do it again, in a second, because the full top only installation type does loosen. The 5 minutes of getting under it was well worth it, to install it, and forget it. No more retightening necessary.

I agree with the other reviewers that mentioned it is not perfect for comfort, but no more, or less than any other solid hardwood seat. I gave up on the cushioned ones, along time ago, because they are usually somewhat flimsy, and harder to keep perfectly clean. Maybe there are better cushioned ones available now, but this was perfect for my needs. As long as you have room to get the bottom fasteners on, from the bottom, this was a great choice.

Turns out they’re incredibly easy to install and it turned out that my old toilet seat and toilet itself really needed a deep clean in the hidden crevices anyway. Never realized this, but stuff really builds up there and so the deep clean felt really rewarding. This new toilet seat is great because it’s sturdy, adds height, is easy to clean, is adjustable on a hinge that lets you position it forward or back of the bolts, and it lowers slowly and silently. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to make shorter bolts with a smaller bolt head. The ones that come with this seat are T-shaped and wouldn’t screw on past the wide part of the shape of the toilet, so I had to use the ones from my old toilet seat, which are more narrow (think: hexagonal head). With this adjustment, the product would be perfect!

Bemis 1500EC 390 Lift-Off Wood Elongated Toilet Seat, 1 Pack, Cotton White

Great product! To save a lot of wasted time watch the video first then follow the steps in the pdf directions.
At first we put the bolts through the seat but the covers would not clip on. I then found the video in the product support area and it shows to put the bolts on first, then attach the seat over the bolts, then snap on the covers. If you follow those steps it takes 5 minutes to install.
We just ordered another for a 2nd toilet. The seat is very good quality and solid, not cheap plastic.
This is a wood toilet seat. So a bit heaver than I was expecting. However, it made installation of screws for standoffs possible (no stickers that fall off) … which was needed after installing a luxe 185 bidet (awesome).

With the silicone based standoffs installed, the seat is not perfectly balanced and does not feel as heavy.

The big thing with this lid is the way it installed to the toilet. Some obsolutely TOP NOTCH hardware makes installed and removal (for cleaner) A BREEZE.

For the price, this way better than the plastic lids we have bought in the past.

It does not have SLOW CLOSE, so be aware if someone drops the lid … it’s not a good idea.

But overall, great toilet seat and good quality … the wood construction make installed bumpers possible, so a perfect choice if you installing a bidet (which raises the lid and will break the lid if you do not balance the sides and front with bumpers).

but this one is pretty fantastic. Most seats start getting loose after a few months. This seat, all you have to do is twist the knobs ON THE TOP and it tightens. Yes, a genius put the knobs on top so I don’t have to reach underneath to tighten the bolt (after initial installation) every
time the seat starts to wiggle. Great design at the right price. I’ve replaced 4 seats in two homes with these!

Bemis 1500EC 000 Toilet Seat with Easy Clean & Change Hinges, Elongated, Durable Enameled Wood, White

Bemis 1500EC 000 Toilet Seat with Easy Clean & Change Hinges,

If you are overweight and, face it, the extra lbs take a toll on a flimsy toilet seat. I saw a review where the mom/dad of an autistic kid said this seat is safer for their kid who stands on the seat. That sold it for me. As a mom who knows moms of difficult-to-control autistic children, I know the workout they get, and the fear of their child getting hurt falling off an unstable toilet seat. My first implression is that this seat is solid and very sturdy, in spite of the plastic fasteners. And I mean VERY solid.
I bought this brand because I knew they made the church brand also that I had before and it was very good lasted over 5yrs until one of the plastic hinges broke. This new one has stronger hinges on it looks like an updated design compared to my old one. I Included a pic of the hinges. This company also makes Mayfair brand seats. They do NOT include instructions however you can go to toilet seats.com for that. They even have a video of the installation. I will say it was real easy to install but different than many. You screw the bolts in all the way first then when the bolts are tight slide the toilet seat into position and snap the cover closed. This design is so you can easily remove it like to clean it in the shower or something. It does say on the website to only use mild soap and water to clean! Nothing in an aerosol can like scrubbing bubbles! I’m sure you could clean it with it but may shorten the life of the finish. Overall I highly recommend the seat in you just want a simple ordinary toilet seat like you always had. If you need a soft closing seat this ain’t it. But this company does have them.
I bought this to replace the aging seat that came with our house 14 years ago, whose hinges had finally given out and broken.
This is aesthetically great. Nothing fancy, no special features, just a solid, not-cheap-feeling toilet seat.
The one commentable feature is the fastening system which took a moment to figure out. Rather than the traditional plastic bolts that fasten from underneath, this system has a locking mechanism on the top of the toilet which needs to be turned a quarter turn to unlock. Someone in my household has unlocked this by accident once already, but it hasn’t been a continuous problem. If it were, I would remove a star.
The normal use case for a toilet seat does not involve frequent removal and reinstallation, so, I don’t really see the benefit of having a “quick release” system. (I just leave mine attached to the toilet permanently, once installed… don’t you?) It’s innovative, but kind of pointless.
However, it’s more of a quirky thing to talk about in a product review, than an actual detriment. I’d buy this seat again.

KOHLER K-4647-0 Stonewood Molded-Wood with Color-Matched Plastic Hinges Elongated Toilet Seat, White

KOHLER K-4647-0 Stonewood Molded-Wood with Color-Matched Plastic Hinges Elongated Toilet Seat, White

Our 20 year old round enameled wood seat had seen better days, and was in our guest room’s bathroom, so we needed a new one. Local big box stores only had plastic seats. This looked like the right thing, and it is the right thing. It is sturdy and the enameling is smooth and solid. The fact that the lid has to be pushed down to close is a bonus; the old one would just fall with a clatter if not lowered gently.

It fits our toilet just fine, and is super easy to attach. The only issue is that after I got the seat positioned just right I tightened the bolts, thought all was good, but it’s slewing a bit to one side after a week or so of use. It remains to be seen if this is an ongoing problem or if I can get it fastened more securely.
I went through a couple different toilet seats in the same price range & they were terrible- loosening frequently, seat shifting & breaking. I was looking for a seat with metal hardware & thought from the pics that this seat had metal hardware. It does not, however it has not loosened ever in the months since initially installing it. Comfortable – no sharp seams or edges. Good quality, would buy again.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the Mayfair NextStep2 Toilet Seat with Built-In Potty Training Seat:

Pros:

Durable
Easy to use
Soft-close lid
Built-in potty training seat
Affordable

This is a very high-quality seat. It is made of solid material, was easy to install, and fits perfectly. The kid seat snaps right in and will be easy to remove after we are done with it. It is held to the lid with a magnet, which is handy. The soft close feature works well, too. It has a quick-release feature to remove the whole assembly for a thorough cleaning. I have not tried this yet, but it looks promising. Overall, they thought of everything. Spend a couple of bucks more instead of buying the cheap off-brand stuff, and you will not be disappointed.

Hibbent Premium One Click Elongated Toilet Seat with Cover(Oval)- Easy Installation and Quick-Release for Easy Cleaning – Stable Hinge Design to prevent shifting – Soft Closed – White
I’ve been searching for a good toilet seat for DECADES, replacing most within a couple of years due to broken plastic hinges/bolts, or the finish going bad. I waited for 7 months of using the Hibbent One Click Elongated toilet seat to see how it did. So far – so good. In fact, I just purchased another one for the second bathroom.

The seat is very comfortable and sturdy, no slipping from side to side. I did need to tighten the bolts once after installation, but I think that was due to my being cautious and not getting them quite tight enough the first time. Regardless, it’s easy to tighten them. The bolts are stainless, not plastic, inside of rubber sleeves that have brass threads, so I have high hopes that they will not strip out or rust immediately. The wing nuts for the ends of the bolts are large, plastic covered, brass-colored metal. They are easy to hold in place while tightening the bolt from the top, so you only need one Phillips screwdriver to install the seat.

I didn’t really think the seat removal was that big of a deal when cleaning before buying this seat. I was very wrong. It’s great to be able to pop the seat off, stick it into the bathtub, spray it with cleaner and rinse using the showerhead. While it drips dry, I tackle cleaning the toilet. The cover to the bolts lifts off, so there isn’t any gross residue that seaps out later, leaving that little brown edge that is impossible to completely remove. I wash off the bolt cover in the sink, using the same spray, soak, rinse method with the faucet.

To replace the seat, I hold the sides of the seat and put my ndex fingers on each hole in the hinge so it’s easy to get the posts into them by feel. Once the seat is started onto the posts, I push the side button to let it slide down into place. Trying to hit the posts without using your fingers is a lot harder. Sometimes I don’t get it exactly lined up, so I gently rock it back and forth until it starts sliding down the posts.

The soft close didn’t take long to get used to. The only problem we have with that is that we tend to drop regular seats with a loud bang since we’ve gotten used to our soft closing seat. It’s sort of like when people walk into regular doors, expecting them to open themselves or waving at faucets instead of turning the handles.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the instructions are not the best. They included a second instruction sheet with color photos in my later purchase which helped a lot. The first time, I didn’t know that the bolt plate had to have the arms of the U pointing toward the tank and got it backwards (naturally). But it was obviously wrong pretty quickly and easy to correct.

Unfortunately, the Almond/Bone color – which is perfect for my 1980’s era toilets (Glidden Paint color “Parchment 40YY 70/138” is a match) – are not available at this time. They are only making white, so the second bathroom doesn’t really look as great as the master does, but too bad. If this is just a supply chain issue and they do come out with the Almond color again, I may replace the white one just for the looks. Or not.

FYI, when I went to register the toilet seat for the warranty, the website said it had to be done within 30 days of purchase, so don’t procrastinate.
This is a very nice toilet seat. We own 2 of these. One round and one elongated. The round one was just purchased since we really liked the elongated one. It installs slightly different than the elongated one. The first thing you do is throw away the instructions and watch the video instead. I found it necessary to put soap on the rubber bolts in order to force them through the holes on the ceramic part of the toilet. There are 2 bottom wing nuts that are never mentioned in the general instructions. I used both of those. Just watch the video and copy what they do. Only add the wing nuts to the bottom of the 2 bolts so the seat stays put and does not move around. Good luck!

Mayfair 847SLOW 000 Kendall Slow-Close, Removable Enameled Wood Toilet Seat

Mayfair 847SLOW 000 Kendall Slow-Close, Removable Enameled Wood Toilet Seat

I needed a new toilet seat for my 65 year old “Standard” toilet (predecessor to American Standard). This seat is super solid and I love that you can sit on the lid when it is closed without it caving in.
I have never installed a toilet seat before and since I bought a returned item (is that gross?!), it did not come with instructions. Luckily it was still in the original packaging so all the bits and pieces were there.
It took me about 10 minutes to uninstall the old one and install this one. Again, I’ve never done this before and it would have gone quicker had I known what I was doing.
The whole contraption feels very stiff, but I’ve never had a slow close lid before, so maybe it’s supposed to be that way?
Overall I’m happy with this purchase.

Good seat that works well with the Luxe 185 Plus bidet. Note that the nylon bolts that come with it have 8 little tabs on them under the bolt head – I snipped those off with some wire snips to make it fit well with the bidet.

Not sure what is up with us but we have been buying top of the line wooden toilet seats in the big box store. We have been buying much the same one for around $70 and have now gone through about five of them I 8 years. Last one only lasted 3 months. So I gave in looked at issues and maybe not exactly the correct fit for my toilet many other people have had the same issue broken in almost exactly the same place. So I checked out this one it is much the same quality as the much more expensive seat but doesn’t have brushed nickel furnishings at the mount point. These seats are supposed to tighten up until the part snaps off so you then know exactly how much to tighten them which I think might be the problem with the more expensive one. Time will tell but so far it has lasted out excessive recent use.

Toilet seat Elongated with Slow Close Hinges, Four Bumpers Never Loosen and Easily Remove, Two Sets of Parts, Plastic, White

Toilet seat Elongated with Slow Close Hinges, Four Bumpers Never Loosen and Easily Remove, Two Sets of Parts, Plastic, White

1 it was easy to install
2 it came with multiple mounting screws, but the simple plastic screws worked just fine on our Koehler toilet.
3 it is soft close, which is important in households where one is expected to lower the seat after use in the middle of the night.
4 it is comfortable. It does have a smaller opening than our old seat, but that doesn’t affect the comfort for me.
5 it seems sturdy without being heavy.
6 it looks so much better than the stupid seat that came from Koehler. This is expected cuz Koehler sucks.

It lost the special grease and I couldn’t find it on line. Tried thick high temp grease but that didn’t work. Still slammed. Toto doesn’t sell parts so I bought this seat. Much better than the toto one. closes perfectly, easy to install mounts in the 5 + inch toto holes. oval, round, top mount or thru hole. sturdy. Can be removed in seconds for cleaning underneath. Overall a great design. Sturdy too. Works better than the toto seats ever did.

I needed to replace my elongated toilet seat that split, and chose this model for the job. In order to give added support beneath the seat (because some members of my family are rather large), I purchased an additional small box of stick-on replacement seat pads. I added about 4 additional elongated pads onto the bottom of the seat where I knew they would hit the ceramic bowl beneath when someone sat on it.

The additional pads may not have been necessary, as this seat was pretty well supported straight out of the box.

The install was pretty simple, as instructions were included. I’d recommend this particular seat as a replacement if one is needed for an elongated toilet.

Kohler K-4774-0 Brevia Elongated White Toilet Seatwith Quick-Release Hinges And Quick-Attach Hardware For Easy Clean

K-4774-0 by Kohler The Brevia Elongated White Toilet Seat is a superb item that goes above and beyond my expectations. It is really simple to install and clean thanks to the quick-release hinges and quick-attach hardware, which saves a ton of time.

The seat’s extended shape adds comfort and support, and its durable construction gives me confidence that it will last for many years to come. The sleek design and white hue offer my bathroom a contemporary and updated appearance. They also go perfectly with any bathroom decor.

The ability to quickly remove the seat for thorough cleaning is made possible by the quick-release hinges, which is a game-changer. Installation is simple because to the quick-attach hardware, which eliminates the need for expensive equipment or additional hardware.

This toilet seat replaced one that was exactly like it. (They are not made for standing on to catch a spider on the ceiling – FYI.) The Kohler base we currently have fits this Kohler seat perfectly and the snap on/off feature made the installation super easy. The lid is not soft close, but for the price we are more than satisfied with this purchase.

We recently bought new house and all the seats were sub-par. They wouldn’t stay tight, seat would flex, the cover also flex. The Kohler seat fixed all of this! We bought three and it only takes about 10 to install. If you can build a table or bookcase from IKEA, you can do this yourself.

I cannot understand all the bad reviews?! Now, I can understand the issue with soft close, but I didn’t want to pay extra for that. Back in the 80’s you could hurt yourself, but not with this lid. Also, if you’re deforming the plastic, you’re over tightening the Phillips bolt. You should go to finger tightness and then maybe one half turn with the screwdriver, while holding the plastic finger screw thing. My only semi-complaint is the bolt covers can come off a little too easy, but they’re better that prying them off with a flat head, which is how our old seat was.

Pros
1. Easy to install with Phillips/flathead screwdriver, no other tool necessary.
2. Easy to clean
3. Doesn’t flex or get loose, real metal hardware!
4. Lid can be sat on and lean on without it flexing. (We tested this up to 215lbs)

Cons
1. Lid doesn’t soft close, but it isn’t banging like 1980’s lid and won’t hurt you.
2. Easy to remove covers are a bit too easy to remove, but way better than prying ones loose with a flathead.

Kohler K-20110-0 Brevia Elongated Toilet Seat with Grip-Tight Bumpers, Quiet-Close Seat, Quick-Attach Hardware, White

I’ve been a fan of quiet-close everything for as long as I can remember. This seat is no exception.

It cleans up easily, looks good, feels sturdy and comfortable, and has made me embarrass myself when visiting friends and I just drop their normal toilet seats with a sLaM! You get so used to just slapping the top edge enough to start it closing, you’ll eventually forget that not all toilet seats are created equal, though they should be.

Anyway, highly recommended. Can’t go wrong with Kohler.

It’s a VERY slow close, which is what I like. The two screws to attach are mental and I would highly prefer plastic. Therefore I had to wrap the threads with Teflon tape for easy removal in the future if they rust.

Centoco 900-001 Elongated Wooden Toilet Seat, Heavy Duty Molded Wood with Centocore Technology, White

Centoco 900-001 Elongated Wooden Toilet Seat, Heavy Duty Molded Wood with Centocore Technology, White

Well it’s a heavy-duty toilet seat and the fact it has a wooden core gives it some ability to take a SEAT of any size! LOL! Replaced a totally thin plastic seat and it makes a world of difference. Once installed it did not move when I transfer to it from my knee scooter which is kind of an abrupt motion! Right now I have a broken heel that is casted and so I cannot bear weight on it at all for a few months… Since my new situation the plastic seat kept moving and it became unsafe. This one has been a sturdy place to land and my son was able to get it tight enough it has stayed snug through my transfering on to it. I appreciate that it is easy to clean and sleek where the bolts hold down the seat in back. Would and will buy this one again!

Toilet seat itself seems pretty good – very sturdy and shiny. I bought this based on other reviews because I’ve had issues cleaning previous seats as the finish always seems to get streaks from even the most supposedly gentle cleaning products. So fingers crossed that this one holds up, looking at the finish I have high hopes for it. Will update my review if I am disappointed.

Installation is fairly straightforward, however there are not really any instructions which didn’t bother me at first … until I found a little bag of rubber plugs. I spent at least 45 minutes scouring the reviews and questions related to this product but could only find vague answers. I search for ‘rubber’ ‘plastic’ ‘bumpers’ ‘caps’ ‘parts’ and even ‘what are these for’ – results might be obvious to the person answering but I was stumped . I tried pushing the plugs over the screw heads, but that was fruitless. Then I lifted the flip up bolt covers looking for a portal but nothing…. In fact the most helpful reviews ended up being the bad ones – those who complained that the seat was slipping. Combining those comments with the ambiguous answers from customers in the know I realised I needed to undo all my work by removing my shiny new toilet seat as these miscellaneous silicone covers belonged on the underside of my loo lid to give extra grip and could possibly stop future sliding
I had the hindsight to take photos of my discovery so I could save some of you a potential pain in the arse (pun intended)

This review might be a little long but I wanted to make sure to include any words that could help when using the search option. Only time will tell if my extra effort was worth it. …

Ps mine doesn’t have the annoying seam that many previous purchasers mentioned.

Playology Dog Toys

Playology Squeaky Dog Toys for Large Dogs

Playology Squeaky Dog Toys for Large Dogs

I have recently been blessed (and cursed) with my first Super Chewer dog, a year old Australian Shepherd. She will chew herself out of boredom, so it’s imperative we always have sturdy toys readily available for her, preferably in every room.

Playology and Kong by and large have been the best toys we can find for her. Kong has a very good rubber ball, bone, and ring that have held up spectacularly (no noticeable damage after months of use, except maybe some pin-prick teeth marks). Dogs need a wide range of textures though for enrichment, so we’ve been dabbling with the Playology line (the tire, plush bone, dry-tech rope), including this ball.

The scent factor is definitely interesting. Most people know Playology for the peanut butter scents, so I was very excited to find a multitude of flavors available on Amazon, especially with the different scents clearly labeled. I choose the red or beef flavored since the only two in the medium size in stock at the time were beef and sweet potato. The scent is indeed noticeable to humans, but it’s not too strong or overwhelming on its own (walking down the Playology aisle in Petsmart can be overwhelming though since they have dozens of dozens of scented toys, much like going down a candle aisle).

I can’t speak for the dog on how she feels about the scent, but she took to the ball immediately, same as the normal peanut butter ones we get. The medium size is pretty much perfect for her (she’s just under 50lbs). It’s got decent bounce for playing fetch in the house, but not so bouncy that we’re afraid to use it in the house. It’s got a decent density to it as well that adds to the sturdiness.

The biggest issue is the squeaker. It’s not an obnoxious squeaker by any means, and the dog enjoys it very much. However, when you put a squeaker in any toy, it reduces the density and creates a weak spot dogs can exploit. She did good with the ball at first and was able to sit and chew on it for minutes as a time without doing any real damage (her teeth leave lots of pin-prick teeth marks, but they don’t do any real damage to the ball, just superficial marks).

Aussies are considered incredibly smart though, and it didn’t take her long to learn she could rip out the bottom of the ball where the squeaker is sealed inside to tear the squeaker out, thus ripping the squeaker apart and compromising the structural integrity of the ball. We’re debating if we want to toss the ball in the trash or attempt letting her play with it in a supervised session without the squeaker to see if it is safe.

So, overall, this is a very tough ball. It does accumulate teeth marks that are essentially harmless, but there is a weak spot in the seam where the squeaker is inserted, which means this is not indestructible. It is by and large a great ball for fetch and likely won’t ever be destroyed unless a dog is left with it long enough to chew a hole through that squeaker seam. Playology balls are pretty costly though, so the risk of it becoming unusable once the squeaker is ripped out is a bit off-putting. The bright side is that if you monitor your dog, you can likely get several weeks or months of use out of the ball; just no unsupervised play sessions.

7/10, durable, bouncy, and the scent keeps the dog interested, but the ball is not good unsupervised as it can be destroyed if the squeaker is ripped out. We will continue to buy Playology toys, but we will likely not buy too many of these balls until a more durable one (maybe without a squeaker) is released.

Playology Dual Layer Bone Dog Toy, for Large Dogs (35lbs and Up)

Playology Dual Layer Bone Dog Toy

This toy still looks new after over a week of abuse!(Most of the others I’ve tried are in pieces within the first hours) She plays with it frequently, bouncing and chasing it as well as chewing on it. It has a nice rubber, outer layer to protect her teeth. The only other chew toys that have held up are the hard nylon. But I’m afraid she will break a tooth…not to mention the shards that she swallows. Definitely worth the money and I will be buying more from this company!

Playology Dri Tech Rope Dog Chew Toy – for Medium Dogs (15-35lbs)

Playology Dri Tech Rope Dog Chew Toy - for Medium Dogs (15-35lbs)

This company makes very well-made dog toys. Six months ago we adopted a lab pit mix and he destroys every toy we’ve ever bought him. This route is durable, sturdy, a great value for your dollar and my dog loves playing with it or just chewing on it!!! Definitely give it a try if you have an aggressive to her. You will not be disappointed.

I feel a little silly being so excited about a dog pull toy. This thing is great quality. He is a chewer big time! I have seen him try to shred this and it has been victorious so far. I will be getting more of their stuff.

Playology Squeaky Chew Stick Dog Toy, for Large Dogs (35lbs and Up) – for Moderate Chewers – Engaging All-Natural Cheddar Cheese Scented Toy – Non-Toxic Materials

Playology Squeaky Chew Stick Dog Toy

At first my Dogo wasn’t too fond of it and didn’t pay much attention to it, but it then became his favorite toy. He loves anything that squeaks but he also tears anything apart but this thing still squeaks and smells like peanut butter! He absolutely loves it and this brand has become our go to when it comes to getting him toys because they are very very durable.

With the Squeaky Chew Stick my Grand Dog is able to satisfy its need to chew (which makes everyone happy). Playology Squeaky Chew Stick Dog Toys have always been my Grand Dog’s favorite.

The squeaker still worked months later and it showed many “teeth marks” but this didn’t effect the actual toy’s use. I called about the smell and it was suggested that I keep toy outside. That might have worked in the summer., however it’s cold here now and she loves these toys so much she would bring them in. So again, she didn’t have a problem with the odor, we in the house did. I wrote to Karen who suggested to keep it outside, I told her it was a problem, and that I wanted a toy for inside play. Back and forth emails and the end result was Karen’s supervisor Kailey Jiminez wrote to me and a replacement toy was mailed out and not a bad smell. Because of my dog being kept happy., (she is having ACL surgery soon) 🙁 We will definetly purchase again from this company.

Playology Plush Squeaky Dog Toy for Moderate Chewers – Medium Squeaky Bone – Beef Scented Dog Toy, Engaging, All-Natural, and Interactive Non-Toxic Chew Toys

Playology Plush Squeaky Dog Toy for Moderate Chewers

Pictures: First two are first 12-hours, June 19. She scissored off the label, as usual and then made a very small hole. Two days later there are two holes, but they hadn’t gotten much bigger a week later, June 29. The last two pictures are today, July 8. The noisy plastic started to peek out a week ago and I just pulled it out and tossed it and it was still in one piece, handy for tossing.

May I just say that this is nothing short of remarkable for our dog. She generally cuts everything in small pieces or strips with her scissoring back teeth, and she’s neither done that with this ring, nor has she forgotten it. We traded it out for two days and then brought it back and she brings it to us for some tug every day.

Until this toy, the only fabric toys she’s managed not to completely gut and turn inside out and then shred in a day are the Tuffy toys. Based on the construction and the fact that this toy was not stuffed we had hope for this toy and it did not disappoint.

Playology Puppy Teething Bone Dog Toys, Large – Chew Toys with Squeaker for Puppies 4-8 Months – Engaging All-Natural Chicken Scented Toy

Playology Puppy Teething Bone Dog Toys

We just brought her home at 8 weeks. It took a couple of days and now she loves it. I don’t know about durability but she is chewing on the points and trying to carry it with them. It is great for the really young puppies just leaving their momma.

To begin, it’s worth noting the confusing statements about these toys and the best age range for them. The listing states they’re for puppies 4-8 months old (or 16-32 weeks). The packaging itself states that it’s for puppies 8-16 weeks. I tested these toys with my extra-small puppy from ages 8-12 weeks and ran into no age-related issues.

-Sensory Snail, Small, Peanut Butter
This sensory snail toy is a blast for my puppy. She loves the different textures and noises. The crinkling sound and very chewable knots on the edges made this one of her favorites of the whole bunch.
After two weeks and many intense play sessions with this toy, it did begin to look a little worse for the wear. The knots on the edges began to mildly fray in spots where her sharp teeth had begun to pull the material apart. I would not leave this toy with her as a self-play option.

-Sensory Rope, Small, Peanut Butter
This sensory rope was a lot of fun for my puppy to play with and really offers a lot of different rope experiences all-in-one. There are knots, thin strands, chunks, and thick sections for puppies to explore. This makes a great tug toy but would also likely be a great option for teething.
The downsides of this toy were that it smelled the most like peanut butter of all of the options I tested and that it sheds. The smell was almost obnoxious. I can only assume the material made it easier to absorb the smell, but it could be smelled across the room. The scent didn’t seem to entice my puppy any more than a standard rope toy, but that could be age related. The shedding was more of a problem. Even directly out of the packaging, this toy began to lose threads. Once it was being played with, more and more began to come loose. It wasn’t enough that I think it’s a major hazard for most pups, but I would advise keeping a close eye on your pet when playing with this one especially.

-Sensory Ball, Small, Peanut Butter
This ball was super fun to watch an extra-small dog play with. It was large for her, but she loved grabbing onto the spikes and tossing it around. The ball itself doesn’t roll very well due to the spikes, but they make for a great chewing option as well as a fun way to move this toy around.
The only thing that wasn’t great about this toy is that the spikes began to shred after only a few days of play. It didn’t last as long as I would have liked, but it was fun while it lasted.

-Teething Bone, Large, Peanut Butter
I ordered this toy without paying close enough attention to the sizing information. The information is accurate and I was mistaken to order it for my extra-small dog. She still liked chewing on it, but the weight make it far too difficult for her to really move around. This would be a great choice for larger dogs.

Overall, I would highly recommend any of the toys in this line for all puppies except super chewers. Most of the toys can be broken down with enough tugging and biting. As with all items you give to your puppy, you need to keep an eye on them while they’re playing to make sure it’s a safe option for them.

It’s also worth noting that while my puppy loved these toys, I didn’t notice a major change in the way she interacted with them versus unscented toys. I think the designs are great and she really enjoyed them, however, the scent might really depend on each individual dog.

Playology Squeaky Chew Ball Dog Toy Beef Scent, Small, Red

Playology Squeaky Chew Ball Dog Toy Beef Scent, Small, Red

These balls are great. My baby loves them. highly recommended by me and my little one.

By far the longest lasting squeak we’ve tried. Our short legged Jack Russell loves squeaky toys, but usually chews the squeaker out of them in a couple days. This one is still going strong. Great bounce, extremely durable. Glad to know some part is not going to come out and choke her.

First off the best chew toy for my jack russell…he can chew through almost anything in under 5 min…he cannot get enough of this toy he has chewed on it for 2 hours straight..and nothing I mean nothing has come off and it still squeaks ..I got the medium the small would be too small

11 Coolest Go Dog Toys for dogs

My dogs love this toy. I have a big dog #100 and a small dog #23 and they both love it. The dogs have played with it for about 4 months now-squeaker still works and only one of the little legs have been chewed off-which I kind of expected. I usually cut off little legs/horns, etc before giving to pets. My dogs are not real big chewers. Would recommend.

goDog Dragons Squeaker Plush Dog Toy with Chew Guard Technology

goDog Dragons Squeaker Plush Dog Toy with Chew Guard Technology

I bought one of the regular durable bubble dragons a few weeks ago for my pittie mix who LOVES to chew a plushie until she gets the squeaker and stuffing out. To be honest, with most soft toys it only takes a few minutes of me not seeing it for it to develop a humongous crater. The original dragon is still mostly intact, minus a wing and a couple scales, which is miraculous.

This double tough dragon hasn’t even shown any signs of the cloth pulling or being punctured, despite her chewing on the tail while I was working.

I also grabbed one for my much larger GSD mix who isn’t as much of a destructo dog, and he loves it too! Would definitely recommend it, especially at a price of about $15/ea.

goDog Dragons Squeaker Plush Pet Toy for Dogs & Puppies

goDog Dragons Squeaker Plush Pet Toy for Dogs & Puppies

My Aussie, like other dogs, loves the challenge of destroying her squeaking toys. Getting the squeaker out is the goal and once achieved she’ll ignore the item. With the GoDog Dragon in green (she prefers it to the pink, possibly the color is more attractive with her limited canine color spectrum) it took her weeks to eventually remove the squeaker which, for her, is a long time. We’ve given her toys destroyed in minutes, a total waste of money. She may eventually tire of this toy but for now it’s her go to and if she’s happy so are her dog parents. The choices with this company are many but we’ve stayed with the same dragon in the same color she loves, always having at least one in reserve for the eventual squeaker removal. With this toy it is money well spent.

goDog Checkers Plush & PlayClean Squeaky Dog Toys for Dogs & Puppies

goDog Checkers Plush & PlayClean Squeaky Dog Toys for Dogs & Puppies

I do have some suggestions for the manufacturers though. There are just not enough strong toys available for small dogs. You really should make all of your goDogs toys available in the mini size and you should have more variety in your available in the goDogs Checkers mini. My dog has all of your mini goDogs Checkers toys and she is a toy fanatic, she loves toys and spends time picking just the right one to play with. We need more availability. If you had more mini size “goDogs Checkers” styles available, I would definitely buy them for my dog.

goDog Furballz Squeaky Plush Ball Dog Toy

goDog Furballz Squeaky Plush Ball Dog Toy

I didn’t have supper high expectations for this. Our 11-month-old puppy LOVES soft toys, but loves them to death almost immediately. We recently switched from regular toy subscription to the super tough toys, but he doesn’t love those, and is only interested in the heavy cheer toys if you can stuff them. I’ve been trying to find a soft toy that he wouldn’t decimate in a day.

Every so often, we come across a toy that he 1) actually wants to play with , 2) can live up to his “love” 😂. We may have found it. He was immediately interested and ran around with it for the rest of the night, the first day. He has played with it non stop. It’s only been two days, but we are pretty close to a record for length of time we have had a soft toy without total annihilation. He even fell asleep with it in his mouth tonight 💤 Even if we get a few weeks out of it, I would buy again

goDog Dinos Bruto Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology – Purple, Large

goDog Dinos Bruto Squeaky Plush Dog Toy

I purchased 3 different Go Dog Squeaker Toys and so far have only tested this particular one. I have a 70 pound Rescue Dog, Golden/Lab Mix and he chews down an Antler Bone in about 3 weeks. He loves this squeak Toy and plays with it constantly. Rough play and constant chewing. He has bitten off a label and a tiny piece of fabric but it’s still usable and he loves it. I will soon replace it with another Toy from the same manufacturer only because it’s pretty dirty. now and I doubt it would hold up in the washing machine. You found the best soft squeaky toy on the market for rough chewers.

goDog Gators Just for Me Squeaker Plush Pet Toy for Dogs & Puppies

goDog Gators Just for Me Squeaker Plush Pet Toy for Dogs & Puppies

So anyone who thinks a fabric toy will be 100% destruction-proof should probably think for a moment about what they’re asking of… fabric. That’s just not a reasonable expectation.

However! This toy has stood up pretty well to two dogs that chew hard and play hard. In a month I’ve had to repair the toy twice with needle and thread, but the squeaker is still intact and 70% of the stuffing is in there, too.

My dogs LOVE soft plush toys but most are demolished on day one. This toy has absolutely endured their rough play more than most and I’m pleased. As with anything you give a pet, you’ll still want to keep an eye on this when your dog is chewing it as once a seam is opened, it’s anyone’s guess what they’ll chew and what they’ll eat and a belly full of stuffing could cost you a $$$ trip to the vet.

Overall I give this one a thumbs up, knowing that I need to take the toy away when we’re not home to supervise given it’s soft exterior.

GoDog Wildlife Chipmunk Small Toy with Chew Guard

GoDog Wildlife Chipmunk Small Toy with Chew Guard

My dog is a destroyer of all toys ever made. If she can’t destroy it, she won’t play with it. No toys ever lasts more than 10-30 minutes and the ones she still has are basically shredded fabric. This rabbit however, has stood the test and is still standing. She managed to rip the ears a little but everything else is still in tact after over a month. GoDog is the first line of toys that advertises “chew proof” and actually means it. Could not be more satisfied. I have since got her more from the GoDog line and they’re ALL still un-shredded and she plays with them every single day. This rabbit is her #1. Thank you GoDog for finally making a toy my brat of a dog can’t destroy!!!!!!!!!

goDog Crazy Tugs Octopus Squeaky Plush Tug Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technolog – Multi Color, Large

goDog Crazy Tugs Octopus Squeaky Plush Tug Dog Toy

I probably should give this four stars because full disclosure, they are not chew proof. Over time, my mini golden doodle chewed holes in the first one so I bought this as a replacement. To my surprise, he is not chewing it so a win! But they do need to be supervised. Left alone and with enough time, they can chew holes in it. My puppy loves this thing. He tosses it, uses it to hit his ball around and sometimes rests his head on it (sooo cute). It really looks just like the photo. I would recommend it as long as you keep an eye on your pup if they chew.

goDog Crazy Tugs Monkey Squeaky Plush Tug Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology – Turquoise, Large

goDog Big Nose Bunny Squeaky Plush Dog Toy

I bought this toy for my choccy lab who seems to love soft toys, but then again, what puppy/dog doesn’t like soft toys. I went with this one based on the reviews already written by previous customers and because of the ideal that it was virtually indestructible. I have given 5 stars as I believe this is worth the money spent on this item and I do believe that maybe given to an older dog it would indeed be indestructible. However, as I have a 16 week old labrador, whose teeth are coming through, the poor monkey has not lived up to its claims, but I do firmly believe its not because of a product fault. My labrador has managed to chew the tail off (and subsequently regurtitated it) due to constant chewing in that area. Overall I am very happy with the soft toy and I would buy again, but once my puppy is, well, no longer a puppy.

goDog Big Nose Bunny Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology – White, Large

goDog Big Nose Bunny Squeaky Plush Dog Toy

This is a fun toy for smaller dogs. Easy to through and the dogs love it. Been over a week and still not torn up. The price is right too.

**UPDATE: This bunny is still in perfect condition. I don’t know about everyone else, but I do not play tug-of-war with any of her toys. If you do, then it most certainly will rip apart. She loves squeaking it with her nose. We play fetch with it. She loved the bunny so much that I bought her the panda pup a month later and that one is also in perfect condition even after washing and drying in the dryer. I bought a large in both toys.

This is the first plush toy I bought for my 1.5 yr old Mini Aussie on Amazon. First of all it’s super cute and plush like a little kids toy. Very durable as she is an aggressive chewer. I’ve also washed and dried it 3x in the W/D as she gets it dirty. It comes out looking brand new with everything in tact, squeaker and all. I bought another toy from a pet store at Christmas that’s made with a tougher material that she’s chewed and swallowed some pieces of, in a week.

I’ve had this one for 3 weeks, which is a good sign for my dog. It’s her favorite toy. She takes it to bed with her at night. I’m planning on buying her another one from GoDog Plush- the panda toy. None of the other toys by GoDog look as cute and durable than this bunny. Great value for the price I paid. I am very pleased!

goDog Llamas Noodle Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology – Pink, Small

goDog Llamas Noodle Squeaky Plush Dog Toy

If your dog usually pulls all the stuffing out of all of his toys to get the squeaker out. most of his toys are ripped apart in less than an hour but your dog will not even put a hole in this one. He/she will run back and forth in the apartment throwing the llama or etc, in the air then catching it I sometime get it from him and try to hide it then throw it lol. He has this on for over a month now …….you will be ordering more

9 coolest white computer monitor

white computer monitor

if you’re searching for a sleek, white monitor for a white-themed office space – look no further. i spent quite a bit of time comparing various monitors before deciding on this one. i’m VERY happy with my decision; it matches the 2021 imac perfectly. buy this!

i was looking for a cheap affordable monitor that’s not small but also not that big and this 24 inches hp monitor really sold me! it’s white/grey-ish and matches my white setup plus the screen size is enough for me and is such an upgrade (coming from a 14 inches laptop). the quality and resolution is really good and it’s easy to setup as well!

LG LED TV 24″ 720p HD Display, Triple XD Engine., Internal Speaker, 60 Hz Refresh Rate, 1 HDMI, 1 USB, 1 (ATSC) – White

LG LED TV 24" 720p HD Display, Triple XD Engine white monitor

I had a 19″ in my bedroom and I wanted something a little larger so I went for the 24″. I liked the fact that this was a white TV which is more in keeping with my bedroom colors. I got the wall mount too. When I got the TV, it turned out that the screw holes in the mount I already had on the wall matched so I didn’t actually use the mount I had just purchased, even though the former one was black. The TV was large enough to cover the black stand so it didn’t matter. I kept the stand because I plan to give the 19″ to my grandkids. I figured it was interchangeable.

As far as the TV itself is concerned, I am very happy. I had read that some people had trouble hearing it. But reviews of other TV’s had the same complaint, so I took a chance. This was not true in my case and I have poor hearing. I found that if you put sound mode on music, the voices were actually clearer than I experience on any of the other TV’s in the house. Also, with the larger size I was able to put the CC on and actually read the words. And I didn’t have to turn it on particularly loud to hear it. The setup was extremely simple. It actually came with batteries for the remote. There are multiple picture modes and the contrast and colors change with the various modes from vibrant to more muted.

We put it up today and I’m just waiting for my husband to go out to his shop so I can go back in the back and enjoy my new TV. Remember when people used to put a disclaimer in their reviews saying they got a discount. They don’t do that any more and it makes me wonder how many reviews are basically paid for. So I’m letting you know up front that this is NOT a discounted review. I simply love the TV and wanted to counter the few people that said the sound was too low.

ASUS VZ239H-W 23” Full HD 1080p IPS HDMI VGA Eye Care Monitor (White)

ASUS VZ239H-W 23” Full HD 1080p IPS HDMI VGA Eye Care Monitor (White)

I got this monitor to match my ASUS Zenbook laptop, and it works perfect for my needs. I just needed an extra larger screen for using software with large windows like DAWS (Pro Tools, etc) and other content creation (digital art). I do some gaming casually, but mostly RPG’s and nothing needing fast refresh rates or competitive online play. For me, this monitor looks incredible with the visuals and has awesome settings and built in technologies like ACSR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) and Vivid Pixel modes. I’ve tested some high definition videos at 60HZ and the monitor has great smooth refresh rates with no ghosting thanks to it’s Trace Free mode setting. My games look stunning and the monitor has accurate colors and good brightness.

About the monitor, one thing I must note to those who buy it, when I opened the box I thought that my product came defective because the standing hinge was pushed all the way forward for packaging and felt like it was stuck. I was afraid to tilt the monitor upwards because the thin panel felt like it might’ve cracked, however I found a lot of people online had this same experience and assured that with a bit of strength you can pop the monitor stand right out just fine and then it’s very easy to adjust and tilt after that. It’s probably just a lock mechanism thing.

If you’re looking for a monitor for gaming, you should not be looking at this product. Find a monitor with G-Sync/Freesync and either a good TN or VA panel for better and higher refresh rates and response times.

If you’re looking for a monitor with good size and color accuracy for media consumption, this one fits the bill really well because of it’s price and high quality.

If you’re looking for a monitor for content creation, you could probably find a monitor with a higher sRGB accuracy maybe, but I think this one looks just fine and has plenty of settings to adjust on the OSD.

The monitor has built in speakers but they’re nothing better than a standard low-mid range cellphone speakers. It’s okay for listening to basic videos, but nothing for music and such of course. Nice addition, but I honestly won’t be using them.

This is my first ASUS monitor product purchase and I’m very impressed and happy with this one.

Acer EZ321Q wi 31.5″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Monitor (HDMI & VGA port), White

Acer EZ321Q wi 31.5" Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Monitor (HDMI & VGA port), White

I have other 31.5″ monitors, but I tried one of the Acer monitors and actually like it way better than the ones I’ve been using. The colors are bright & bold. It’s use is general internet and work, so I couldn’t give any useful info’ on how well it’d be for gaming. But for my uses it’s a real winner. I’ll be upgrading the others in my office with it in the future.

First this monitor is not used for gaming rather it is used for business. The picture quality is spot on even with photos not taken by a professional. While using the monitor for 8+ hours a day the brightness and clarity does not seem to tire the eyes. It has been great for reviewing documents due to the size. So far so good. Our office is also using a number of other brand monitors which were more expensive and we have been unable to tell any real difference.

So far so good. Incredibly easy to set up. Took it out of the box, removed my prior monitor from its mount, screwed this one in, plugged in the same HDMI cable, plugged in power and turned it on. Immediately hooked in. It’s a bit heavy, but given the ease otherwise and the fact that I don’t anticipate lifting it again, that’s minimal concern. I’m not using this for gaming, just office work, but it sure is a relief on my tired old middle aged eyes. The resolution and colors look fantastic, minimal glare off the light through the windows. There’s like a matted sense to the screen, which is just what I was looking for so that I didn’t get too much reflection off of the window behind me (before, even with the shutters closed, the little light going through would impair the quality of the imaging off of my monitor.

I have a smaller ACER monitor mounted next to it, wanted to try this first before getting a second. Assuming that things continue to go well with this one, will be purchasing another soon.

Acer EB321HQ Awi 32″ Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Monitor (HDMI & VGA port),White

Acer EB321HQ Awi 32" Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Monitor (HDMI & VGA port),White

I was considering two 27″ HDMI monitors, but decided on one 32″ for my needs. I really wanted a monitor that had a good brightness level, which can be lower on more gaming focused monitors depending on the screen technology.. My fundamental need was to display multiple windows which it does fine, and is a great boost to productivity versus flipping between screens. The Picture in picture is one of the features I really wanted. I can display up to two concurrent windows, with a choice of 5 locations.

The display is crisp, and fine for my eyes. The color rendition is good, I’ve seen better, especially on some 4k screens, but it is not disappointing, and the colors seem reasonably saturated, and are fine for Photography. But there are some that are much better, check out some of the Viewsonic, and Philips displays. As I noted the brightness is however good for a large display.

The feature that really swung the Acer display was the PIP function, I could not find this feature on any monitor at this time for less than $300/ up. This allows me to run a development system and operate side by side of PIP modes to use both systems. This is really awesome. The Acer has three inputs to select from – one Display Port, an HDMI, and one DVI. I run the Windows 10 Laptop into the DVI, and a Raspberry Pi into the HDMI and the Mac into the display port input. I run the Mac at QHD which it performs flawlessly. The Linux (Pi) runs on HDMI at similar resolution, and the lap top in a Window at same res as the local display. I have an external keyboard switch to share the keyboard and mouse between the Mac and the Pi. This all works very well. The only clunky bit is the hidden controls and on screen display on the Acer, thats meh. I have also used the screen with my old Apple TV, which is nice when you are working sometimes. I wish there were a few more PIP options, but the basics are well covered.

I also have headphones connected to the display and can listen to music etc at night without waking up the family. There are no on-board speakers however. That would be my one add in a perfect world.

This screen does have a VESA MOUNT! I have this hung off a nice wall mount which frees up more desk space and is easy to adjust to suitable viewing. This is something that a lot of models do not support in the value end of the market. In my experience with a super large screen this is a must have. I would not buy a monitor without this feature. The enclosed stand is very nice finished, but I have not used it, so no further comment on that.

Obviously all the inputs work, and features. Also the monitor plays nice with the Mac (a 2011 Mac Mini Server) and Windows 10. It also works fine with the Pi, which makes for a really nice little Linux system BYTW. So top marks for compatibility. Oh, and yes it works with the Apple TV Gen 3. The picture is a little low res though, so not the coolest, I would use a more current model for serious viewing.

I did not use the supplied cables, I purchased these nice nylon covered cables from Amazon – Ivanky. They work well, and feed through the mount nicely.

On size, I think you could go up to about 40″ on the desktop, but it may become tiresome to use. I find 32″ works fine for my needs. Two 27″ would have the usual line down the middle, so I don’t think the extra space would be as useable, or at least as flexible. I have definitely seen a productivity improvement with the large screen, and work is more relaxed by not having to keep switching screens all the time. The Mac multiple desktop is really great here for organizing your work flow.

Acer get some whacks here for reliability. No observation to share at this time. Will report back if that situation changes. There were no stuck or missing pixels at all. Thumbs up to Acer on that.

Build quality, mine is nicely put together, and I really like as noted the traditional power chord and VESA mount. Not having another power pack hanging out on the desk or the floor is nice.

Screen uniformity of color etc, very, very good. The camera picture is poorer than the actual experience. The panel is rated for wide angle use and that is 100% the case in use. This is good when we are discussing something on the computer, so you can display and share. That might however, be an issue in some office environments – FYI.

In summary…

1. Some great features that are not competitively available in this price range
2. Good quality QHD display with a good brightness
3. Screen controls – meh
4. VESA mount
5. No wall wart, plugs into the standard 110v wall socket!
6. Nice range of digital video inputs, would have loved an additional HDMI (ie 4 inputs)
7. Headphone socket
8. Good price, and good value to price

The cons:

1. Its not the best choice for hard core gaming – but then you already know that, so why are you looking!
2. No speakers
3. On screen controls are not the greatest Ux.

Overall great business/engineering display. Not the best for photography, and lower performance end of the spectrum for gaming. Recommended for the Office type user. Supports local presentation capability due to size.

Samsung 27in White Super-Slim Curved 1080p LED Monitor, 1920 x 1080 Resolution (Renewed)

Samsung 27in White Super-Slim Curved 1080p LED Monitor, 1920 x 1080 Resolution (Renewed)

It’s a perfect refurbish. It’s as if it’s brand new. I really wanted it so I could use my ROG laptop as a tower when I’m just doing work at home but it’s great to be able to game on it, too. The display is bright without hurting my eyes, colors are crisp, zero latency with the provided HDMI cable. I’d 1000% recommend.

It’s like a brand new monitor and for such a cheaper price. I would most definitely recommend. It’s perfect for gaming. It’s not 4K or anything but the picture is great and I absolutely love it.

ASUS VY249HE-W 23.8” 1080P Monitor – White

ASUS VY249HE-W 23.8” 1080P Monitor - White

I’ve had this product for a few months now and I love it! I WFH and was tired of staring at my tiny laptop screen, so I bought this monitor. It’s super easy to set up with my MacBook and although the picture quality and brightness are not AMAZING, it gets the job done. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy another!

Good for the price, I think. It can be wall-mounted which is great. Sometimes the frames take a moment to catch up in certain area in my game with imagery-lag, but that’s what you get with 75 Hz. If you’re just looking for a second monitor, I think this is an alright choice. The brightness does not go as bright as I’d like, which is going to take some getting used to.

This product is flawless! My eyes are finally taking a break from terrible average screens. I have been able to work my 6-8 hours a day without experiencing any discomfort

HP M24fwa 23.8-in FHD IPS LED Backlit Monitor with Audio White Color

HP M24fwa 23.8-in FHD IPS LED Backlit Monitor with Audio White Color

I saw that HP now makes monitors with the Blue Light saver stuff right in it. I have the blue light glasses but I always forget to wear them. I work on a computer 10 hours a day and I can never sleep at night because all the melatonin has been sucked out of my body by my laptop. (or at least that is my current theory). Since buying this laptop my sleepless nights are much less. I was worried about the color distortion but haven’t found it to be an issue at all. In addition, I am a big fan of the color white so this is one of the few monitors you can find in “white”. Overall, I would recommend this monitor to anyone that needs a good basic monitor for work. It’s only 75htz so I don’t know if it would work for “gamers”.

olors are great and the graphics are beautiful. Only thing is the HDMI is a little finicky so be careful when inserting the cable and try not to tug on it too much cause I have a feeling it can be damaged easily. Otherwise perfect!!

super affordable and sturdy. the screen is like a laptop screen and not like a touch screen which I guess is obvious. might have to adjust the brightness when you first get it as I had to turn it down to 50 as to not burn my eyes. overall super satisfied with my purchase!

Samsung 27″ Curved Monitor – Model #LC27F391FHNXZA

Samsung 27" Curved Monitor - Model #LC27F391FHNXZA

Bought to match existing monitor. Decided to have matching monitors, I’m not a gamer but do research using multiple tabs open at once. I liked my first enough to add a second.

Easy to set up, plug in and plug away! Sleep, clean, and ideal for home office, dual side-by-side setup!

The picture is clear and the plug and play is great. There is, however, a single dead pixel that refuses to come back to life. Not a deal breaker and I’ll keep it!

CRUA 27″ Curved White Monitor, Full HD(1920x1080P)VA Panel 1800R100HZ 99% sRGB Professional Computer Monitor

CRUA 27" Curved White Monitor, Full HD(1920x1080P)VA Panel 1800R100HZ 99% sRGB Professional Computer Monitor

If you’re looking for a gaming monitor, or something with a lot of pixel density this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a budget or secondary screen? Go for it.

The picture definitely doesn’t do it justice bc the glare from the sun.
I was using a tv for gaming, but wanted nicer graphics now that I have a ps5. This was well worth the money! You can’t adjust the height (unless you buy a separate attachment) but you can move the actual screen up and down to your liking. It does NOT come with speakers, however I only play with a headset on so that’s fine with me. This is a great monitor to get if you want something better than a tv, but don’t want to drop $200+.

A very decent (but basic) VA 1080P panel, for common tasks. I use this as a secondary display for e-mail and screen overflow for my Mac’s 4k screen, and it has nice soft whites, and the 75 hertz is nice for scrolling.

Is it the best panel out there, even for 1080P? No. Is it worth the $76 I paid for it? Absolutely.

Although, it might not be the best for gaming. I use it for casual scrolling as I connect it to my laptop. The graphics are so clear and perfect (I really cant review them for gaming purposes since I haven’t tried them for games). But the screen is big enough and you can easily type essays or watch youtube! I rate It a 5 stars!

6 coolest white laptops

I have started using chromebooks in white more because they are inexpensive and very convenient to use. They aren’t too good for hardcore processing, but for school work or personal work, it meets all my needs. Whenever I use it, everything is pretty smooth and seamless. Start and shut down are almost instant. I have never had an issue with it’s use so far. I think for me, the biggest plus is the elegance. It makes everything very easy to use, it looks great, it even retains its new smell after some months with light use. My other laptops have poor track pads but this one is infinitely better. I don’t feel the need to use a wireless mouse as well. I ended up getting a screen protector for it for almost $20 because it was a touch screen. I like how it has a lot of features like hdmi cables, one usbs, even a memory card slot. I think for the price, it is definitely worth it. It feels like a very high end chromebook, although I generally wouldn’t pay too much for a white laptop in general because I don’t need high processing. The buttons feel nice and smooth. There hasn’t been much lag or delay time. Updates are easy and smooth. Screen is nice to look at and the colors are great. There doesn’t seem to be much glare and it feels aesthetically pleasing. Yeah everything’s really nice with this.

Lenovo Chromebook C330 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop

Overall, I would say the laptop is great. It is definitely worth the price of around $300. It is small, lightweight (although could be more), responsive, looks great, smells new after months, smooth to use, track pad is pretty good,

Processing speed is 2.1 ghz, never had a problem or issue with lags. 4 gb ram is okay, probably wouldnt do 2 gb. 11.6 screen, I wanted something smaller so this is a plus to me. Bit heavy with 2.64 lbs for a small laptop but it’s okay, still my lightest one. internet connection is good and bluetooth use was good. Processor never had a problem with Mediatek. Convertible to tablet mode is a plus. Solid state so processes quickly which is a big plus. Battery life is great, I hate charging and finding an outlet, but this goes on for more than 8-10 hours, just doing school stuff, no videos. I would say I searched like crazy in the beginning. I wanted one main personal laptop and one small convertible laptop and this was the best convertible one I could find on Amazon. I compared like 20+ laptops over a week, I was really putting a ridiculous amount of time on it. But I had specific things I wanted in mine, like speed, aesthetics, smooth performance, and valued those more than other things. I wanted things to be really convenient.

There are some things I don’t like about it though. Originally, I had planned to use this as a tablet part-time because I didn’t want to buy paper textbooks. I thought of using all of it on this chromebook, but it turned out to not be convenient because it was too heavy. I would use it on the train and my hands would almost immediately get tired trying to read. I would have to rest is down on myself, which isn’t a big deal but wanted something I could read ebooks and pdfs on conveniently. I don’t know if I will end up getting another one to serve that purpose. It also is a chromebook so it cannot download files and stuff. I don’t particularly like that because that stops it from being my main computer. I don’t like putting personal stuff on my drive, like my expenses or whatever even though it is irrational and I do it with some apps. Maybe I should, but the fact that everything is on my drive to see makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I don’t mind that this computer cannot really do much without internet because I always have something saved on it. It has 64 gb of memory which I think is quite significant. I mean, if I couldn’t put anything on the drive, I wouldn’t feel that, but 64 gb + drive storage seems more than enough and I am trying to be a minimalist anyway. Yeah not that many cons.

Lenovo Chromebook C330

Anyway, I wanted a inexpensive laptop but this definitely performs up to par with most white laptops. Never had a problem with it so far months into my purchase but did want something I could use as a tablet. Would definitely recommend. Definitely better than a lot of the stuff I grew up with that cost 3x more. Best laptop I could find and really pleasantly surprised overall in many areas.

Full disclosure, I am not an IT professional but use laptops, tablets, and desktop computers daily in my personal and work life. This chromebook has far exceeded my expectations. This is my first time using a chromebook. I have had a week or so to really dig into the device. I own an alienware gaming laptop, but I find myself only using it now for gaming purposes only.

This chromebook is fast in my opinion. The speed is snappy and the device responds quickly to gestures and commands. I have yet to find sometime I can’t do on this that I do on my windows laptop aside from gaming. One game I like to play requires windows, mac, or linux. Since this has an ARM processor it does not support linux applications at this time.

Design: This device is a bright attractive white chromebook. I find the design to be pleasing to the eye and appears sturdy even though it is made from plastic. I do not particularly like using it in tablet mode. The screen feels bulky and sometimes unmanageable in tablet mode. The screen quickly transitions to whatever position to place it in whether laptop, tent, or tablet mode. I personal find myself not even using my LG tablet for much of anything except when I need LTE internet away from home. Overall the design is great.

Screen/Input: I find the keyboard to be on par with most laptop keyboards. The keys are a little shallow and I feel my typing has slowed a little bit, but not by much. The IPS touchscreen is very responsive and rarely find myself having to touch the screen more than once for my intended gesture. Screen is bright in home conditions, but feel it would lack in more intense lighting situations, such as outdoors.

Ease of Use: The google play store makes this thing be able to do just about anything. I have not tried any intense applications. I use chrome, netflix, hulu, evernote, several banking apps, and various other apps. All of them are snappy responsive. The bank apps load like they are in phone mode, thus they are in a small window. The apps still work as designed. Netflix and Hulu playback is smooth and pleasant to watch on the screen.

Overall, I am impressed with the Google OS and this device in general. If your someone who is on the fence about the operating system, I suggest you give it a try. The battery life is good as well. When using my gaming laptop its always with a cord tethered nearby. I also understand a gaming laptop is far more power intensive. I have yet to use this chromebook while charging it. The battery has allowed me to watch 4-5 hours of netflix, talk on facebook, and text through my phone without ever getting critically low. I charge it at night and then never put it back on till the next night. This is a max screen brightness. I was also very surprised with the speakers. The speakers were much louder and not distorted. I honestly expected them to be cheap netbook quality that is mostly better just to never use them, but thats not the case with this chromebook. I do generally use a bluetooth headset. The bluetooth headset paired with extreme simplicity. I also set up my brother wireless laser printer with google cloud print in less than 30 seconds.

Google did it right and lenovo delivered a solid product. I did purchase this on sale for $200 but would have spent the $300. If your a web surfer, music listener, netflix watcher I highly recommend this. If you need windows intense software then go with windows. Otherwise I think you’ll find yourself using this as your primary device as I have.

I’ve been doing research on Chromebooks as my Macbook Pro Retina (2013) recently died. I needed something portable, fast, cheap ($300-400 CAD) and easy to use for multimedia / work / documents.

After looking through Lenovo’s different options, I decided to pick up the Lenovo S330. The S330 was great, nice bezels, sturdy and an okay screen… But the screen had really bad viewing angles and didn’t have a touch-screen.

So I decided to return the S330 and purchase the C330…. WOW, BIG DIFFERENCE. The touch-screen, smaller form factor and overall look just BLEW me away. I didn’t think that I’d use the touch-screen that much, however, chromebooks are OPTIMIZED for touch-screens.

Overall, for under $400, I would highly recommend getting the C330 instead of the S330

Acer Chromebook CB3-131-C3SZ 11.6-Inch Laptop (White)

Acer Chromebook CB3-131-C3SZ

I’ve had this baby for 4 years and it’s still going strong. It does everything that I need it to do, which is mostly surfing the internet. I often have multiple browser tabs open, and it handles things like a champ. Sure it sometimes refreshes the tabs or gets a little laggy, but that’s to be expected.

It’s easy to use it in combination with Google sheets or other online applications that replace regular programs like Microsoft Office, and I can use Chrome remote desktop to do work on my work laptop if I need to stay home. I don’t really miss having a laptop much at all, especially since I can use offline mode if needed and store most everything (such as photos and videos) on external drives.

It’s light and sturdy, so it’s easy to take traveling.

I do have some trouble connecting it to Bluetooth and lately it’s been having trouble staying connected to Wi-Fi, but overall this thing has totally exceeded my expectations. I’m considering upgrading to a fancier touchscreen model, but I think I’ll probably stick with Acer since it’s treated me so well!

Let me start off saying that I am a long time Mac user. I’ve only ever known my Mac, and I loved it dearly. It was more than I ever needed in a laptop, but it was time for a change (it was dying and falling apart on me). I’ve played around on a friends dell/windows (?) laptop before, and hated it ( not the desktop though). I just couldn’t get used to the “feel” of it and the mouse touch pad drove me crazy. It seemed more complicated than my Macs mouse touch pad. So with my lack in laptop experience, I was a hesitant shopper.
I researched what I could and this Acer Chromebook seemed to have good reviews and was in my price range! (I even posted some questions and got some very helpful answers from users here on amazon!)

I bought the
~Intel Celeron N2840 2.16 GHz
~2 GB DDR3L SDRAM
~16 GB Internal Storage
~11.6-Inch HD IPS Screen, Intel HD Graphics
~Patterned Aluminum Cover, Google Chrome, Up to 9-hour battery life
Chromebook (New)

I’ve only been using this Chromebook for a few day’s now (I’m actually writing this review on it right now), and I have to say I absolutely love it!
I was worried about a memory so I picked up a  SanDisk 32GB Class 4 SDHC Memory Card, Frustration-Free Packaging- SDSDB-032G-AFFP (Label May Change) . I’ve been leaving it in my Chromebook without any problem. It almost perfectly lines up with the side of the chromebook. So as long as I’m not pushing in the sides, the SD card shouldn’t accidentally be “clicked” out. I haven’t used any memory yet other than saving a couple pictures (to set my wallpaper and my sign in picture).

This Chromebook is lightweight and I can easily move it from room to room. There is no overheating/fan noise (and I’ve played around on it for HOURS and the underneath barely gets warm!). Offline I feel like, the battery would last up to 9 hours, but i’ve been playing online (not paying attention to how long) and I still don’t worry about charging it until its there is about 10-15% life left, which is after hours of use! (and it only seems to take about 1 1/2 -2 hours to charge to full when I’m not on it). I make sure to take it off the charger after it is fully charged (I hear keeping any electronics on the charger after it is fully charged could decrease the battery usage/life and i’d rather be safe than sorry!)
I love the keyboard, It’s feels just like any regular keyboard. Minus the “cap lock” button. Which is the only button i’m getting used to not having (since I used to use it all the time) But love the search button, and how you can talk search too! (I’m still learning all the fun little things that come along with owning this little laptop!)
The mouse touch pad has a nice feel and use to it. I like just “tapping” the Mouse pad allows you to “click” and that if you put pressure on the mouse pad, you can actually click (for highlighting, copy and pasting etc) I actually found that out by accident! (I was sad at first because I thought there was no way to highlight text or “right click” things – click with two fingers on the mouse pad!)

Now to have full use of this Chromebook you DO need to have a Google account. You can either create one upon starting up the Chromebook or log into an existing account. There is not much to the start up paper, but it easy to figure things out just by playing around with the Chromebook!
I think I covered about all I can think of!

As of right now, I absolutely love this Chromebook and I do not regret ordering it! I’ve been able to surf the web, watch Youtube, play games (on websites Like facebook and gaiaonline), work on point to cash sites, and start up google documents without any problems! (all with good speeds too!) I’ve even messed around with the camera a bit!

If anyone is looking for a case/pouch to go with your 11.6in chromebook, I bought one that suits my needs (and I can fit the charger in the other zipper too!) :

Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11″ Laptop, 11.6-Inch HD IPS Display

Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11"

First off, the touchscreen works fine. I’m on version 100.0.4896.133 and had absolutely no issues. So whatever plagued this model previously has been resolved. Now then, lets focus on the laptop.

The first thing I noticed was the screen. In an age of almost no bezels…. Holy bezel Batman! Is this a bad thing? Eh, maybe to some. For me I’m OK with it. Realize the laptop itself is about the size of a 13.3″ laptop. I haven’t looked into it but I suspect there’s a laptop in this chassis with a 12″ or 13″ screen. But in day-to-day use, it’s fine for me. The smaller screen gives a good pixel density and colors look fine. Very good viewing angles too. So all in all, I like it. Touchscreen seems very responsive as well. No issues at all there. Oh, and in the bezel there’s a webcam. 720p, does OK in low light, no physical shutter so get your stickers ready 😛

Going down the laptop we have the hinge. While I’m not a fan of tablet modes that leave the keyboard exposed, it does what it sets out to do just fine. The pivoting action feels very smooth with a fair bit of resistance. Folding over into tablet mode, everything works as expected with good orientation control. So while something I won’t use much, it’s a nice feature.

Down further, we get to the keyboard. Keys have a nice feel to them though travel is a bit short. Not Lenovo’s best but certain better than other keyboard I’ve used. I’m a little disappointed it doesn’t include the usual “F” keys given I use Linux on here but so far it’s not caused any issues…

Finally we come to the touchpad. I must be honest, I despise most any touchpad without physical buttons. However, I must confess this one is actually very good. It’s proven to be very responsive with almost no hiccups. At times I will have a small lag if I try and use two fingers (resting one finger on the “button” and moving with the other) but it handles this better than other cheap machines I’ve dealt with. The physical action is rather mushy but taps work just as well.

Finally, we come to the speakers. This is probably the weakest part of the whole machine. I find underside speakers become obstructed way too often. Of course this depends on how it’s used, but I’d much prefer top-mounted speakers. But judging what we have, they actually works pretty well. If you’re on a hard surface, they have decent sound. Nothing phenomenal, but about what you’d expect from a machine at this price point. And then if they are covered, you can still get OK sound from them.

I guess the last point will be I/O. Charging is via USB-C, and yes, this port can be used for other USB devices too. You also have full-sized HDMI, a USB 3.0 and full-sized SD card slot. SD cards aren’t flush when inserted so that’s a bit disappointing, but I’m glad Lenovo at least opted for full sized ports and such. Now on the adjacent side we have power, volume and a headphone jack…not much to say there.

Finally the guts of the beast. At the heart of this machine is an ARM based processor. I was very curious how performance would be using ChromeOS and more importantly the Linux dev environment. Results have been mixed but generally very good. As a Chromebook for surfing the web and watching videos, it works fine. Pages load quickly, videos play without issue, etc. The only hiccup I’ve found is playing a video in the background. The video remains frozen for a bit when returning to it, but this is only a minor quibble. I’ve not had many issues with Android apps either. My library is really only productivity software, but it’s all worked as expected. Over on the Linux side, the processor is a bit labored. Chromium under Linux is obviously slower than the baked in Chrome, but I’m sure Linux running as a VM doesn’t help.

Lets end on usage, or more specifically heat and battery life. I’ve not done any specific testing, but I’d say 10 hours out of this machine wouldn’t be difficult at all. And then even while under a load and charging, there’s almost no noticeable heat generated by this laptop.

If you’re looking for a good all around Chromebook and can overlook the oddly sized screen, I highly recomend this machine!

This Chromebook is a really good laptop. The price point was excellent, and it is a lightweight, solidly built Chromebook that sips on the battery instead of drinking or gulping it. An individual can expect to get a full day’s use on a single battery charge.

I love the touch screen, 2-in-1 feature (tablet/tent or laptop, the sound is adequate, the keyboard size is good, and the weight is great particularly for adding minimal weight in a backpack. There is a mechanical slide built in to physically block the camera, which is a particularly nice feature. It uses a USB-C adapter, which is helpful for possibly being able to carry/manage multiple cords. It is compact enough to be carried in nearly any size backpack, messenger bag, or medium to large handbag.

On the right side of the computer, there is a power button, rocker volume button, and Kensington lock input. On the left side, there is a micro-SD slot, a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone input, a USB-A input, and a USB-C power input. I wish there were either one more USB-C input or a second USB-A input; however, a USB-C mini hub (probably one with a power pass through) will provide additional inputs for any USB accessories needed. This is a minor complaint, but not enough to deduct a star.

I did, however, deduct one star because I specifically wanted AND ordered a laptop in white. That is not what I received. (I received one that is dark navy.) I didn’t return it because I didn’t want to pay a restocking fee, and ultimately it meets every other expectation I had for a new Chromebook.

If you don’t mind the random act of receiving a Chromebook in a different color than what was expected, this Chromebook is a good, solid item with a beast of a battery in a compact, lightweight footprint. it will provide hours and hours of surfing and streaming. It will be good for using the Google suite of items. It is a great laptop for a student, and it is a great laptop for a work if one’s work is largely web-based.

This is what this computer is not: it is not a Windows PC system; it is a Chromebook. It is not a large computer. If you want a screen larger than 11.6 inches, this laptop is not for you. I am not a gamer, so I can’t speak to its ability to run games.

The positives:
-I love the size & color
-It’s lightweight
-The keyboard is comfortable to type with
-The battery life is outstanding.
-The 2 in 1 feature is very neat.
-Ability to personalize some of the settings similar to a Mac
-It starts right up
-The OS speed is fast
-Google Play works just fine
-It’s a great overall Chromebook if you are looking for an affordable option!

The downsides:
-To me are the display screen is small for the size of the screen. Lenovo could have made the display screen at least an inch wider and an inch higher without making the dimensions of the laptop larger and that would have helped the overall display significantly. It will probably be an improvement on a future model.
-I didn’t do a video call, only took a picture and the camera quality doesn’t seem to be the best, so if you are relying on this for lots of work zoom calls, you may want to find something with a clearer camera, though it will certainly work.
-The speakers are very low quality. It’s not horrible, but compared to most technology right now it’s on the lower end, for sure. If you mostly use a bluetooth speaker or earbuds to listen to music or watch movies this is no problem.
-The mouse pad feels a little cheap to me. This is a $250 laptop, so it’s expected to feel cheap somewhere, but just something to note.
-If you prefer to use Brave as your browser for privacy & security like I do, it is glitchy. This could perhaps be fixed with an update to that app.

ASUS – ROG Zephyrus G14 14″ Gaming Laptop

ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14"

Well, the laptop overall is awesome!! For more details just go to the Asus page or Youtube.
Now, for the hard part. I am currently living in Mexico and this model won’t be available here and that is why I decided to get this laptop from a third party seller (more $) trough Amazon (+ import fees $ + shipping cost $). I know there are probably cheaper ways to get this but I decided to go with Amazon convinced they will handle all the paperwork and the import process.
Unfortunately I was wrong. For my particular case, Mexican government has a set of rules called NOMs (Mexican Official Norms), and those apply for any foreign product with a cost higher than &1,000.00 USD. There are several NOMs a product has to comply with and getting the certificates is a rather long process that involves sending the product to a specialized lab for testing and a really long time waiting on the federal agencies for any response. The NOMs are in place to ensure a foreign product can be used with out harm within Mexican territory.
While I was researching all these “fun” rules and their applications, I got to realize that they are aimed to the big importing companies. The ones that get a foreign product to be sold in Mexico, and in my case I am just a final customer looking to buy an awesome laptop.
In my opinion, getting this certificates is the job of the ones like Amazon or the third party seller I got the laptop from: Michael Electronics; since they are selling and importing this product to a foreign country.
I went trough a rather worrisome process where my laptop got hold on customs office for over 10 days. During this time I was in constant communication with Amazon and Michael Electronics and although they were super polite, they were NOT helpful.
In order to get my laptop released I had to obtain an especial letter from Mexican government to exempt 2 (of many) NOMs. Surprisingly, Mexican federal agencies where extremely helpful and they got me the letter in 5 business days. I then submitted the letter to the customs officials and finally got my laptop.
In summary:
I don’t believe this laptop should be sold by Amazon without the required documentation, the risk of the product getting stalled in customs offices is very high and there is no warranty that Amazon will issue a full refund (according to the representatives I spoke with). I could complain about the NOMs but foreign country laws are way out of our control and then again this is WHY we use big selling companies like Amazon. I believe Michael Electronics shares responsibility too but I also believe this is WHY they choose to sell their products trough Amazon. According to Mexican government agencies Amazon has A LOT of issues related to Mexican NOMs so to them: PLEASE, it is not a new topic and I am NOT the only one.
For everyone looking to import this awesome laptop from America beware of what happened to me.

You get a ryzen 9, an rtx 2060 and a 1080p 120hz display, this is one of the combinations with the best performance per dollar. Out of the box, the PC worked perfectly for me without much tweaking, only problem I had was that it came with windows 10 home rather than pro, which for my case, needed an upgrade; hope it’s possible to ship pro versions in future. For the power it packs, this pc is thinner than most, definitely not MacBook pro thin but not much thicker than it, which is a definite plus; it’s also a lot lighter than my MacBook with markedly better performance – that ryzen chip trades punches with the i9 in the Mac and gpu performance isn’t even a question – for me
I also like the fact that the pc comes with minimum bloatware, I didnt have to Uninstall anything at the very beginning, it’s a clean, well designed and properly executed piece of hardware, gold stars to Asus

I love this PC but I objectively have two issues with it:
1. The success rate of the fingerprint scanning-caching function is abominable – 6/10 times I genuinely have to enter my pin and 9/10 times I have to rescan my finger, usually a different finger to get through windows hello. I really hope that Asus has a fix coming in soon, if it’s a software related issue
2. The backlight for the keyboard is uneven and if you’re in a well lit room, then it’s easier to see the keys with the backlight off. In my case, I use it late at night when I really need the backlight but otherwise by default it’s off

For price to performance, it’s a buy, right now prices are going down due to the upcoming 5000 series cpu and 30 series gpu models, if you’d want to wait for those, absolutely – from the looks of it, Asus has made a great pc even better in 2021, but nothing would beat the price for last year’s model.

Excellent laptop, great cpu / gpu, storage, build quality. I cannot comment too much on the out of box experience, as I installed Windows 10 Pro instead of home and wiped the drive.

Pros:
1. Build quality. Excellent magnesium alloy shell. Well put together.
2, CPU. The Ryazan 9 4900HS is a great performer, runs my main programs (AutoCAD, Dialux) well.
3. GPU. The novicia RTX2060 performs very well. The integrated AMD graphics also work very well for programs that do not benefit from a discrete GPU.
4. Battery life. My other laptop is a 5 year old Asus Zenbook, which is nice, but this runs rings around it in all ways, the great battery life being one of them.

Cons:
1. Package weight. Although the laptop is 3.5 pounds, the package was 10 pounds. I am living in S. America doing volunteer work, so shipping this to me was expensive.
2. The two GPUs are an education process in terms of controlling which programs are using which. Both the nVidia Control Panel and Windows seem to have provisions to do this, but I am still learning how to do this.
3. CPU clock rate. AutoCAD is not a very good multithreaded app, so high clock rate translates to better performance. So, strictly for AutoCAD, an Intel 11th gen Core i7 or i9 might have been a better choice.

ASUS VivoBook S14 S433 Thin and Light Laptop, 14” FHD Display

ASUS VivoBook S14 S433 Thin and Light Laptop

Very fast
No need for any installation.
I mainly use it in a docking station so the screen a d the weight are not very relevant.
However when I take it out it is just the right size and weight for me.
A couple of points that I would change for the next one I buy:
I’d prefer to have an Ethernet connection. Now I need to use an adapter (physical connection is still better than WiFi).
I’d rather buy a blank PC without windows and install it myself. This way I can avoid all the preinstalled apps and trials

I upgraded my 5 years old laptop to this ASUS and before doing that I did quite a lot of online research. And I can not be happier. This device is fast, like really fast! I like the screen which produces very low levels of reflection, the (illuminated) keyboard has a satisfying “click” and travel, I love the metallic finish of the device and it’s very light to travel with. Overall completely happy. Only downside (being really picky) is that trackpad feels somehow “cheap” when clicking it… I mean, the device looks and feels so premium but the track pad feels like from another device… anyhow it works beautifully. Not a reason to complain. I absolutely recommend this lovely machine.

I miss not having a touchscreen or a 10-key number pad, but I knew I was making those sacrifices, when I bought this laptop. The only real “negatives” are when you bring it back from standby/sleep mode, it’s quite slow to reconnect to applications that were in use, and certain basic functions, like screen brightness, will suddenly fail to work, until updates are downloaded. I really love the look and portability, and the screen quality is great. I’m mainly using it for basic internet browsing and streaming, so it’s perfect for that.

If you’re looking for a sleek, modern laptop, this isn’t for you. There is no touch screen, and the screen it does have looks a bit… dated, to me at least. There’s a neon border around the enter key, which is fine but unnecessary. The keyboard does lean on the small side, so if that’s a big deal for you I’d suggest looking elsewhere. However, the functionality and value of this laptop is great. Who cares if it looks a little 3 years ago? It’s fast with good graphics. It doesn’t overheat and randomly shut down, like my previous one, and the fan noise is unnoticeable. I’ve had a couple issues, but I think that’s Windows for you (speaking of which, I did have to download Windows 11 myself, which was a battle and a half). The battery life is excellent, along with the sound quality. I’m happy with this laptop, particularly because of its low price, and will likely have it for a minimum of three more years.

HP Chromebook 14-inch HD Laptop

HP Chromebook 14-inch HD Laptop

Buy these for kids because, These are awesome for our elementary and middle school kids. If you also travel a lot. For the car, this is perfect and they can watch movies once they are downloaded. The battery lasted our last 5 hour trip.
This is not a good device for college aged kids. It can only do ‘google’ things and once in college, you need many more options (I am a college professor, so just a recommendation).
The picture is clear, the touch screen works great and battery life is amazing. Its on the lighter side too which is nice.

I have had this Chromebook for about 2 years now, some things worth noting:

Pros:
good quality for the price (no chipping, higher quality material, aesthetically pleasing)
lightweight
does not overheat or have a distracting fan noise
i have had no problems with this computer for the 2 years I’ve had it
if you need it just to browse the web and do your taxes this is the perfect white laptop for you!

Cons
it’s a Chromebook, i highly suggest you do your research and know what you are getting into; if you are a student who needs Microsoft word and excel, chrome books may not be the best option for you. Chromebooks are like phones, they have apps and although you can download Microsoft word it does not come with all of the regular features.
it can sometimes run a bit slow, but nothing crazy.
you cant download any games like blizzard or league of legends on it. (this may be obvious but worth noting regardless.)

Overall ,good quality for the price.

At just under $300 with tax, this still seems like a great deal. The screen is awesome: 14.0-inch diagonally, with full high definition (1920 x 1080). It uses IPS BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit technology. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology is used in many smartphones. IPS is typically more expensive, but produces a much higher display quality, with better colors and a much wider viewing angle. This IPS display looks great. It is so so so much better than the older Chromebook it replaces. Battery and speed are good, and the time until Google stops supporting the software is June of 2026, which is great. Google “chromebook support life” if you didn’t know that Chromebooks aren’t supported forever. The speakers point upward, and are noticeably better than I’m used to. Everyone has a different budget and objectives, but found what I wanted: awesome picture; loud and very good sound quality; good battery and processor speed. I was not disappointed.

Best electric toothbrush with waterpik

Great product that comes with lots of accessories! My gums and mouth have never felt healthier since I started using it.

Pros:
• Water flow is consistent and has an adjustable pressure non
• Compact size for smaller sink spaces
• Comes with tons of accessories for various oral needs
• Great value for as much as you get
• Versatile so you can add fluoride to the reservoir if you wanted in the evenings or morning for a little extra freshness

Cons:
• If you fail to connect the nozzle correctly it will leak. I knew it had to be a user error so I turned it off and unplugged it – took the nozzle off the pic and started over. Just like that the leaking stopped. There is a tiny button that allows you to unclasp the pic and I found that I didn’t fasten it in well the first time – hence the leaking.
• The chord is long but not SUPER long so you do need to keep it fairly close to the sink area so you avoid getting water all over the place
• Small water reservoir so you do need to refill it with each use.

Waterpik-Complete-Toothbrush-Water-Flosser

The water pick at the lowest setting is what I normally use. The higher settings are really, really, strong. At the higher levels I went through the water pretty quickly and had to refill before I was done. Adding a little mouthwash to the water makes it foam up a lot and makes cleanup more time consuming so I normally use just water.

Waterpik Complete Care 5.0 Water Flosser + Sonic Electric Toothbrush, Black WP-862

The electric toothbrush’s motor is incredibly strong.

Waterpik-WP-100-Ultra-Water-Flosser

The water reservoir is plenty large to hold enough water to do a good cleaning even when using a couple of the tips,

  • It includes 5 tips and 1 brush. I still use my electric toothbrush so I don’t use the toothbrush that came with this set
  • All of the tips and the brush are stored in the cover for the water reservoir.
  • The water pressure can be adjusted before or after the unit is turned on. There is a separate “on” button on the hand tool to turn on the water jets. Turning it on and off while in your mouth is easy.
  • The hose to the tips coils and easily stores on the base unit.
Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser

The tips included with this flosser are:
1 – Orthodontic Tip for Braces and General use
2 – Pik Pocket Tip for Periodontal pockets/Furcation – If you have pockets behind your gums, as I do, this tip works well to clean out and reduce the size of the pockets
3 – Plaque Seeker Tip helps to reduce plaque on implants, crowns, bridged, retainers and for general use
4 – Toothbrush Tip is for general use – Since I have an electric toothbrush, I have not yet tried this tip.
5 – Classic Jet Tip is for general use – This is the tip I most often use
6 – Tongue Cleaner helps to freshen breath – I haven’t tried this tip yet, but, supposedly, cleaning your tongue helps to freshen your breath as it removes dead skin cells from your tongue.

Waterpik-Waterflosser-Traveler-Flosser-Accessory

The unit is not noisy — I think people who say so are just not used to water piks — It’s no louder than a blow dryer. The variation in water pressure is very useful for my healing gums. It’s simple to use, and the rotating top of the wand helps me get behind the temporary bridge without going through the contortions it took with the cordless unit. I’m very happy with the purchase and with the value of 2 great WaterPiks for the price of one.

Waterpik Waterflosser Ultra and Waterpik Traveler Flosser

The Waterpik has about twice as much power which is too much power. I only use it at half-power. Using it at less power causes no change in the sound. I’m guessing it opens a bypass valve as opposed to a restriction. This would be a better design for using it at lower power levels. The water flow comes out in pulses. The subgingival tip has a flexible rubber tip that will tear if the water pressure is too high. Running the reservoir dry doesn’t cause any inconvenience. It primes itself instantaneously the next time I use it.
The travel model is fine. It’s less power than the Ultra but it’s powerful enough. I would only consider it if you need the compact size.

Waterpik-Sonic-Fusion-Professional-Flossing-Toothbrush

It’s a great product and my teeth feel like I just came from a cleaning. My dentist is quite impressed with how clean my teeth are. However, it is not good to travel with it. Gotta love the airlines and how they toss your luggage around.

Waterpik Sonic-Fusion 2.0 Professional Flossing Toothbrush, Electric Toothbrush and Water Flosser Combo in One, Gray

I like the fact that it works very well for brushing on battery only, bear in mind that it will not floss without being connected to the water source. However it works very well when connected and you can certainly do both, this is also a great function of the timer.

I do two rounds of brushing and one of flossing as a rinse.

Waterpik-Electric-Toothbrush-Water-Flosser

It takes a few uses to adapt to the new, smaller combined unit after the large double sized one I have been using faithfully for a few years till the rechargeable battery died. First of all the water chamber lid seemed like it was going to be problematic, but I got used to smaller size and its correct lid positioning.

Waterpik Sonic-Fusion Professional Flossing, Electric Toothbrush & Water Flosser Combo in One, SF-02, White

Then I figured out at the first try that you can’t brush and water floss from the start, it washes off the toothpaste so I did those two procedures separately. I have been using the unit for over two weeks now and have established a rhythm that makes my teeth feel cleaner both with the old brush flosser unit and this unit with two separated tasks.

The brushing has one speed, a faster one, I opted for the slower one on the old unit so that might be a difference. I discovered that it takes a bit of time for the flosser water to fully start while brushing so the organized brusher can use this to advantage before the toothpaste is all washed off.

I now can brush and floss in the same 2 minute period and my teeth feel cleaner that the double time of the old one. I see my dentist for deep pocket antibiotic treatment in another two weeks, I think my hygienist will be pleased with my progress.

Waterpik-Electric-Toothbrush-Water-Flosser

The process of getting used to this toothbrush took a little bit of time. My gums continued to bleed off and on for the first week that I started flossing because my mouth was not used to water flossing at all.

The variable speed dial on the side and was able to increase the speed up to the highest setting over time.

Waterpik Sonic-Fusion Professional Flossing Electric Toothbrush, Black, (Pack of 1)

It has been a little over 2 years since I purchased this product and my teeth and gums are the healthiest that they have been. Because of this product, I was able to reduce my regular teeth cleaning back down to twice a year and no longer have any gum bleeding, pain, or issues.

My teeth are also whiter because this toothbrush gets them so much cleaner! My husband now wants one too!

Waterpik-Complete-Electric-Toothbrush-Flosser

This new iteration of the classic Waterpik has some thoughtful upgrades including an easy to use off/on switch for the water jet, a better sized water container, new brushing modes, and compact size. It also is much quieter than the old model I had been using.

Waterpik Complete Care 9.0 Sonic Electric Toothbrush with Water Flosser, CC-01 White, 11 Piece Set

The water floss always works awesome! However, the toothbrush is always a problem. Mine stopped within 2 months then I contacted the company and then Amazon / the company sent me a replacement. Then the same thing happened with the second set! The toothbrush couldn’t hold charge. I contacted the company.

They were really nice explaining how to best maintain it and sent me another replacement set. However, in a year, the toothbrush stopped again. It’s really frustrating! I really don’t want to contact their customer service again and again and change another set. To be honest, it’s really wasteful given the water flows works totally fine.

Toothbrush With Softest Bristles
Toothbrush With Softest Bristles 1

Colgate-Enamel-Health-Sensitive-Toothbrush

They are extra gentle on the gums but have superior cleaning ability, and to top it off my teeth are the whitest and brightest they could be—beating many manual toothbrushes and an electric toothbrush even. The secret is its great ability to clean in between the teeth, like flossing.

Colgate 360 Extra Soft Toothbrush for Sensitive Teeth and Gums with Tongue and Cheek Cleaner, 2 Pack

They’re soft, but are NOT! This one, TOTALLY IS! It’s non-abrasive on sensitive gums and the thin bristles get well in between your teeth. Leaves your teeth feeling really clean when done.

However, I think a little thicker padding on the handle (gray part) would make it easier and more comfortable to maneuver. That said, these are my absolute favorite, so I ordered 3 packs of 4 each = 12, to have on hand since can’t find them in stores anymore.

Curaprox-5460-Ultrasoft-Toothbrush-Pack

At first they seem expensive. Not as much as electric tooth brushes but expensive for a manual tooth brush. The reality is these are head & shoulders above anything you’ve probably used, that the price is more than fair.

Curaprox CS 5460 Ultra-Soft Toothbrush (3 Pack)

I’m not the kind of person that can splurge on fancy things. But i read an article about these & how much better the bristles are plus the fact they last longer as a result. Once you use these you’ll never look back. In the end you’ll save money while getting the best tooth brush you can buy.

Colgate-Extra-Clean-Toothbrush-Count

A lot of toothbrushes claim to be soft, but most, in my experience, have not been truly soft. These are truly soft toothbrushes. It was nice to find a product that was true to its word. Also Colgate is a very credible brand in my opinion.

Colgate Gum Health Extra Soft Toothbrush for Sensitive Gums with Deep Cleaning Floss-Tip Bristles - 4 Count

The colors are vivid. I think it’s a great value for the price. I’d recommend them to others. Also the shipping was excellent.

We were getting the Colgate SOFT toothbrushes per our dentists recommendation, but it felt like our teeth were not getting clean enough. We switched to the medium and we will probably be staying with the medium.

They are not too firm to be irritating and our teeth feel much cleaner after brushing. The only thing we do not like is that these are not a big toothbrush, the handles are a little hard to hang on to, but for the price we will make allowances.

Oral-B-Health-Soft-Toothbrushes-Count

If have never quite satisfied with the toothbrushes buy them until I found these. They are perfect in every way and since I buy them in bulk I never have to go looking for a toothbrush to buy

Whenever my or my husband’s toothbrush starts looking a little splayed out I just switch on a new one from my supply.

Oral-B CrossAction All in One Soft Toothbrushes, Deep Plaque Removal, 6 Count

They come in different colors in one pack so we each have our own color. When we travel I just throw two of these in my toiletry kit and when one of us inevitably realizes we forgot our toothbrush we have an extra. A great product.

This is the best non-electric toothbrush ever. My electric is great, but it’s a production to use it vs. grab and brush of manual, so the electric is for nighttime and this one morning and before going out.

As for the person who said this brush is “too hard”, well you’ve probably aren’t flossing and have infected gums. This brush is firm enough to work, but not so hard as to hurt anyone with healthy gums.

Also do yourself a favor and get a great toothpaste, the Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste is also top of the class and a difference maker.
I’ve been on a mission the last few years to up my game in dental care and a great toothbrush and toothpaste is a great start. And I use a Waterpic a couple of times a week with a capful of that purple anti-cavity fluoride mouthwash in the basin with lukewarm water.

It kills the germs under the gumline. My dental hygienist is amazed how much better my teeth and gums are now.

Oral-B Pulsar 3D White Pulsar Battery Toothbrush, Soft, 2 Count (Colors May Vary)

The battery has never died and they really last. One package came with the same two colors, which was a bit of an issue in figuring out whose was whose, but we came up with a quick fix.

Oral-B Pulsar 3D White Pulsar Battery Toothbrush, Soft, 2 Count (Colors May Vary)

I hate brushing my teeth as my wife will attest to, but I find myself brushing more frequently after I got this toothbrush.

It uses one AAA battery which I have not had to replace yet. I used to have a more expensive electric toothbrush, but it got ruined after some liquid got into it and messed up the battery and connections.

So the main thing I was looking for here is that the water can’t get to where the battery is, which it does not. Another thing I did not like about about my old bulky electrical toothbrush was the small size of the the actual place where the bristles are.

It was just a circle. This one is a full size brush as can be seen on the picture. One drawback is that you cannot replace the head you have to buy a whole new toothbrush when it gets old. But that is still cheaper than replacing the head on my old fancy toothbrush. Also I think that this is the reason it’s waterproof.

The actual vibration is quick but soft so I use it like a regular brush moving my hand back and forth instead of letting it do all the work.

The main thing is it will gives me more motivation to brush my teeth than my old expensive electrical toothbrush and definately more motivation than a regular manual one.

THE BEST FULL OVER FULL BUNK BEDS IN 2023

We may earn an affiliate commission through retail link, product listed on this website are independently selected by our editors.

full over full bunk beds

Looking for full over full bunk beds for home or a vacation home to save room space?

With a normal ten inch mattress at the bottom bunk an adult cannot sit under the bunk, we suggest if you are going to buy a new mattress than buy a thinner one, would be 6 in max.

Do not worry if your kids are a bit rough with things, because they are doing good with quality. These beds are sturdy.

Do not make mistake during assembly, it may take a bit more time.

YOU MUST HAVE TWO PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE. You can do quite a bit of the tedious stuff yourself, but yeah, no way around it. Invite a strong friend over when you’ve done the most of it you can in your own and lure this person over promising pizza, beer and chocolate cake (plus a blazing fun time applying both brawn and brainwork to complete a worthy task)

These are such a fun way to save space and create a bedroom for more than one child, while leaving room for a play or study area (if your kids are older).

affordable yet heavy duty option. You could never see spending thousands of dollars for a big name brand when these beds delivers the same thing.

MAX LILY

First, the assembly takes a good amount of time, 2-4 hours minimum to do a good job.

This is made from New Zealand pine. A good solid wood with few cosmetic flaws. the wood is brittle, which contributes to the structural failures. Very nice finish but with some odor that takes a few weeks to dissipate. It is NOT toxic.

You can also set them up as two separate beds and it will work well. The assembly wasn’t hard, just a little time consuming.

full over full bunk beds

Like all foreign-sourced unassembled furniture it has pictures but no words in the directions. A power drill/screwdriver and a rubber mallet is a big help. Sorting all the parts prior to staring save time. The paint finish is smooth with no thin or painted spots. All parts fit together well.

They’re a good product for the price. The bed has nice small footprint, and the bottom bunk isn’t too high for up to 5 years old. and up to 10 year old can get up and down from the top bunk easily.

DHP PHOENIX

Once together, you may buy Bunkie boards by taking accurate measurements down to your local Home Depot (they cut large plywood sheeting for one dollar a cut). Bunkie boards add a bit more sturdiness and could use thinner foam type mattresses to give a higher rail for them learning to climb up and down correctly and safely.

full over full bunk beds

Zero problem with quality (one very small chip of paint, which with this size of a product is nominal). Boards are not warped, holes aligned, hardware is all there and substantial (they are not look or feel cheap AT ALL).

Are buying this expecting to be disappointed? You are WRONG. It is easy to put together.

It’s not heavy. It’s VERY sturdy. It doesn’t take up much space and its great for small children.

DHP MILES

Fist this bed is LOW, YOU can easily stand over top of this from the ground if you are above 5’5′. the assemble is actually pretty fast and you can do it by yourself, you may also buy a loft and put together a loft bed from the same company it would be a bit more work to do alone.

The plastic feels like a bad cad dream. Each slat at each end is prevented form coming out of a channel by placing with some force a plastic blank in the bed frame above where the slat meets the every slat that’s two plastic bits, then each slat gets two plastic ring, each plastic ring has a bar connecting it the previous and next slate so 4.5 plastic bits per slat.

full over full bunk beds

The bunk took about 30-45 min. to assemble, if you are handy and have the right tools with a second person occasionally helping at certain stages. WE were pleased with the low height of the beds yet plenty of headroom in the bottom bunk, especially for kids. They are sturdy and they’ll last well.

Handy tip; when putting in the clips that hold the slates in place, use 2 hands, press on the outer edges at the same time, bowing the clip out, and then they snap in really easy. Otherwise you have to fight them a little.

DOREL

Have better need two people to cooperate, one for installation, the other one for holding them together, It take four hours to finish, it, thus be patient please. You need someone who can use electric screw driver well. WE want to emphasize that the painting with no any bad smell, it is very good for health. In addition. we still have something very important to emphasize, cause by the bed slate. The bed slate (with no painting they are made of natural wood ) always keep volatizing at beginning 20 days.

full over full bunk beds

The number of 20 bed slates means will have much more natural smell keep volatilizing. It is natural smell, thus it is nontoxic. Like flowers, many people like it, but may people have allergy to it. So we suggest you could buy it in early time.

You had better to put mattress on the down bed after I finish installation. You can’t put it on the bed if you are not smart. You need little skill to put your mattress on the bed.

This is a high quality bunk bed at a great price. The instructions were mostly pretty clear but It did end up having to make two alterations/corrections.

In conclusion, this is a really outstanding bunk bed frame with mostly clear instructions that looks fantastic and is very sturdy.

MERITLINE

product is easy to put together. It takes a bit of time if you are working by yourself, and you will need someone to help you hold pieces or lift the top to the bottom at some point. Bunk bed is sturdy when it gets put together. You could easily add another cross piece or plywood for more support as your kids get older if need be.

Compact it’s not any longer or wider then our single full bed just taller.

Easy assembly very well labeled but only pictures so it will take a couple of times we to switch pieces around. Sturdy which means the boxes are very heavy look beautiful if you like traditional wood.

full over full bunk beds

Not a lot of space between top and bottom bunk if you put a tall mattress down there approx. 31” between the bottom bunk slates and the top bunk beam.

The instruction came with detailed illustrations but at first. However, we realized it is not more difficult than building a LEGO set and you could do almost all by yourself.

The hardware, tools, and parts are all labeled with stickers which makes the assemble much less complicated. The bunk bed parts are all made of wood and there were no plastic pieces.

Since there were so many pieces to assemble., once done with the assembly, you could then see that the top rails are high enough to secure the mattress and to prevent a sleeper to fall off.
